Tweet/Garot Mechanical, a leading mechanical engineering, manufacturing, and construction company with locations throughout Wisconsin, announced today that it is acquiring Certified, Inc., a fellow mechanical contractor located in Altoona, WI.

The acquisition will bring together two companies with complementary expertise and capabilities, which allows Tweet/Garot to grow its geographic footprint and offer an even broader range of services to its customers.

Moving into Western Wisconsin was an important part of our growth plan and we are thrilled to have found a wonderful cultural and strategic fit with Certified,” stated Tweet/Garot CEO, Christopher Howald. “This move strengthens our position as the leader of HVAC, plumbing, piping, sheet metal, and mechanical service throughout Wisconsin and significantly increases our ability to service customers across the state.”

Certified’s office and fabrication facility in Altoona, WI will remain open and in operation. Certified’s Owner and President Russ Ryan will stay with the company and continue to lead his team of 50 employees.

The acquisition was completed on December 30, 2022. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
