Position Summary:
The Human Resources Intern, specifically focused on Learning and Development, will assist in the development of learning programs and instructional materials to enhance the employee learning experience. This internship provides hands-on experience in instructional design, course development and exposure to corporate learning and development strategies. Additionally, this role will offer support with administrative tasks related to training coordination and project tracking. It is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain real-world experience in the field of instructional design.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist in the design and creation of eLearning modules, instructor-led courses, job aids, assessments and other training materials.
• Collaborate with the HR team and subject matter experts to gather content and ensure accuracy.
• Assist in customizing training programs for different audiences and learning styles.
• Build, design, update, and coordinate training programs and training presentations and procedures.
• Help collect feedback on training programs through surveys and other evaluation tools.
• Support the analysis of training data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in coordinating learning projects and managing timelines.
• Maintain and update records of training materials, attendance, and participant feedback.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including responding to inquiries, organizing files, preparing materials, and supporting training events and webinars.
• Help facilitate training sessions and workshops for employees and provide feedback for program improvement.
• Conduct research and recommend best practices in training and instructional design to enhance employee learning experiences.
• Be comfortable speaking in front of groups.
• Perform any other duties or projects as assigned.
• Participate in internship program activities and company-sponsored events.
Preferred Knowledge, Experience & Skills Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in a degree program with an interest in Human Resources, Learning & Development, or Instructional Design.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous, shifting priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Student member of SHRM a plus.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• This internship is located in De Pere, WI.
