Position Summary:
The Scheduler is responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining project schedules. This position ensures projects are completed on time and within budget by managing the schedules for labor, materials, and equipment. The Scheduler collaborates with project managers, cost controllers, field supervisors, subcontractors, and internal and external clients to track progress, address potential delays, and adjust timelines as necessary. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills to ensure all aspects of scheduling align with project goals and deadlines.

Description of Duties:
• Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using MS project software that align with project scopes, deadlines, and resources.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to gather data and incorporate it into comprehensive project schedules.
• Plan and schedule labor, materials, and equipment in coordination with the project team to ensure efficient resource allocation and utilization.
• Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing potential schedule impacts, delays, or risks. Proactively review schedule adjustments with project manager to keep the project on track.
• Act as the primary point of contact for schedule-related updates, providing regular reports to stakeholders on project status, upcoming milestones, and potential issues.
• Revise and update schedules as necessary based on project changes, delays, or unforeseen circumstances. Ensure that all stakeholders are informed of schedule changes in a timely manner.
• Perform critical path analysis to identify key tasks that must be completed on time to avoid project delays. Provide recommendations for schedule acceleration or resource reallocation when needed.
• Coordinate the scheduling of subcontractors, ensuring that their activities align with overall project timelines and that there is no conflict with other work on-site.
• Generate and distribute regular reports on project progress, upcoming milestones, resource requirements, and any variances from the original schedule.
• Ensure that schedules comply with contractual obligations and industry standards, and that any adjustments are documented and communicated effectively.
• Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Knowledge, Experience & Skills Requirements:
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in scheduling, planning, or project coordination in the construction industry, with mechanical contracting experience highly preferred.
• Experienced with Microsoft scheduling software
• Familiarity with mechanical systems and installations is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project teams and external stakeholders.
• Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines while managing multiple schedules.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
