Tweet/Garot Mechanical was chosen to be the design-build HVAC and process contractor for a new paint booth project. TG was responsible for designing the heating and ventilation of the corridor and equipment room and utilizing aluminum piping to interconnect the compressed air and vacuum systems. We also provided various duct systems for the connection of owner provided plenums, dust collectors, and DOAS units.
In utilizing aluminum pipe for the compressed and vacuum piping, we were able to provide a lighter material which allowed the project team to utilize existing structure, saving the overall project investment. Piping installed ranged from ¾” up to 6” aluminum AirNet pipe.
Tweet Garot also provided and/or installed the following:
Tweet/Garot successfully completed the project, overcoming challenges such as owner delays, supply chain disruptions, and mid-project design changes.
