Tweet Garot is excited to bring the Heavy Metal Summer Experience back to Northeast Wisconsin for its third consecutive year. For the second summer in this region, the six-week program will run Mondays and Wednesdays from June 8 through July 15, 2026, offering students an inside look at careers in the skilled trades.
Originally launched on the West Coast, the Heavy Metal Summer Experience was created to introduce high school students and recent graduates to the diverse, rewarding career paths available in the building trades. The immersive, hands-on format quickly proved successful and has since been replicated across the country as an annual program.
At Tweet Garot, we are committed to developing the next generation of skilled trades professionals by exposing students to real-world environments, experienced mentors, and the many opportunities available in the industry. Participants gain practical experience while learning about career pathways in mechanical construction, manufacturing, and related trades.
The 2026 camp will be held at Tweet Garot’s Wrightstown Manufacturing Facility (4001 French Road, Wrightstown, WI).
If you’re interested in exploring a future in the trades and learning directly from industry professionals, this summer is your opportunity to get started!
