Exterior shot of Coleman School

Coleman School District

After a successful referendum in 2018, Coleman School District was able to move forward with building upgrades within their combined Elementary, Middle and High School building.

Upgrades included secure entrances, additional restrooms, kitchen renovations, enhanced science lab spaces, expanded cafeteria space, and a number of underground plumbing improvements. Over 4,000 square feet of interior floor concrete was successfully removed to replace existing underground piping with new storm sanitary drains.

Renovations in educational facilities present the challenge of tight project completion windows; in the case of Coleman School District renovations, the project was completed within just seven months, spanning over the course of two summers.

Additional Project Highlights:

  • 5,780 feet of new water piping
  • 5,300 feet of new drain & vent piping
  • 12 new bathroom groups
  • 18 new science lab sinks with fume hoods, two emergency eye wash/shower stations
  • 9 hand wash stations
  • 13 air drop stations, two air hose reels & two emergency eye wash/ shower stations in shop area
  • Multiple classroom sinks & nine water coolers/dispensers
