Tweet/Garot was selected as the plumbing provider for the renovation of Green Bay East High School. The project consisted of three phases, addressing issues for multiple different parts of the building. On top of renovating the systems supporting the school, this project included an addition, making space for an expanded weight/training room.
Phase 1 of the project was focused on replacing the storm drainage system in the basement. The previous system was significantly dated and utilized clay piping, causing flooding issues. This area proved to be a challenge as the space was extremely tight which made moving and working on material difficult.
The second phase shifted focus to the boys and girls locker rooms. Individual shower units were installed for both locker rooms, along with general bathroom renovations. Shutoff valves for specific areas of the school were also installed during this phase. This addressed a serious issue with the old plumbing system. These valves had previously been located in the basement, which was very inconvenient when they needed to be utilized.
Phase 3 included the large addition for the new weight room and general renovations to the outdoor concession stand. Tweet/Garot’s scope consisted of the storm drain system, domestic water, and sanitary for the new addition.
