Tweet/Garot was contracted for a project consisting of redesigning the companies’ conveyor system and adding pre-manufactured testing pods and “sic stack” modules designed and built by the general contractor. The team handled the HVAC scope including both compressed air and gas piping. Ground mounted RTUs supplied by the owner were installed, along with the incorporation of controls into the Plexus system.
This project was run on a rushed schedule due to early delays, however all the teams involved in the project communicated well, allowing for an efficient and safe work environment. The scope of this project changed slightly due to deviations from the owner’s forecasts, so Tweet/Garot satisfied the current facilities needs and is on call for any further systems the facility may require in the future.
