Industrial Ventilation hung from ceiling for Project Dixie

Project Dixie

The scope of work for this project consisted of installation of building and process ventilation, as well as process piping systems to support the expansion of the customers’ existing manufacturing facility.
The project was delivered as a IPD approach that consisted of MEP/GC/Engineering/Owner. With this team approach we were able to collaborate during the design phase to maximize each other’s experience to practice DFMA (design for manufacturing and assemble). We also generated innovative solutions to lower project cost.

Tweet/Garot had been chosen to be on this team based on our expertise with installation of mechanical systems and doing it successfully and competitively throughout the country. The project team (MEP/GC/Engineering) strived to secure negotiated work that results in a friction-free project in terms of customer satisfaction, minimal change orders, less unexpected scope gaps and a more efficient construction schedule that allows our customer to begin production as early as possible.

In the preconstruction phase, early involvement with Tweet/Garot’s experienced estimators with trades backgrounds was key in order to brainstorm methods for reducing cost and accelerating schedule where possible.

During construction we used our core group of experienced field leadership which resulted in seamless delivery and zero injuries.
