Tweet Garot was selected to handle the plumbing and medical gas scopes of the new Bellin Ambulatory Surgery Center in Ashwaubenon. Long-standing relationships with both Bellin and Miron made Tweet Garot the prime candidate to handle this project.
The system installed was complex and ensured that all the needs of a proper hospital environment were met. A large reverse osmosis system was installed to supply boiler makeup water. An RO DI water purification system was utilized for Bellin’s sterile processing area. Domestic hot water was produced by steam to hot water heat exchangers.
The medical gas systems were comprised of several key components including a bulk oxygen system, medical air compressors, vacuum pumps, CO₂ and N₂O manifolds, and two instrument air compressors.
Together these systems served to support the facility’s critical healthcare operations. This project ran on a fast-paced schedule that required extensive prefab efforts. Still, Tweet Garot’s experience with Bellin proved instrumental in the timely completion of this project
