Recent Projects
Featured examples that showcase Tweet/Garot’s experience and capabilities at customer locations throughout the United States.

Team Winnebagoland Detail Center
Tweet/Garot was contracted to join the new construction project for Team Winnebagoland Detail Center in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. We were brought on to handle the HVAC scope of the project. Insulation and Balancing services were subcontracted and proved to be very helpful for this everchanging project.
Multiple challenges were encountered, but overcome successfully. Flexibility and adaptability enabled the project team to adjust plans according to changes in ownership decisions, equipment delays, labor schedules, and unfamiliar equipment, ensuring smooth progress. Our subcontractors proved to be very helpful when it came to dealing with these challenges.
Despite the many roadblocks, the project was completed within the ownership’s timeline, demonstrating the project team’s resilience and dedication. This project provided valuable insights into effective communication, adaptability, and training. Future projects will benefit from enhanced equipment operation clarity, comprehensive training, and improved coordination among stakeholders.

BCO Holdings
BCO Holdings/Horizon Square, a commercial real estate development, will house BayCare Clinic’s orthopedic, sports medicine, podiatry, and physical therapy services. Ernest Health’s Green Bay Rehabilitation Hospital will occupy multiple floors, providing specialized rehabilitation services to patients recovering from disabilities caused by injuries, illness, or medical conditions. Aurora and other future tenants were to occupy spaces on the fourth floor. In addition, the facility will have a Caribou Coffee cafe and a CrossFit gym. Tweet/Garot was hired to provide sheet metal and pipe fitting work to install multiple roof-mounted air handling units, among other things, in the building.
The facility required a complex HVAC system to accommodate the needs of the various specialized medical and wellness services to be located in the building. Tweet/Garot’s expertise in sheet metal and pipe fitting was essential to ensure the successful installation of the multiple roof-mounted air handling units with split DX cooling condensing units, a dual-fuel hot water boiler plant, electric humidifiers, several mini-split system AC units for electrical and data room cooling, packaged rooftop units for some of the tenant spaces, as well as a kitchen ventilation system. The team also ensured that the system met all regulatory requirements related to air quality and ventilation.

Siding Conversion Dust Collection, Upper Michigan
Tweet/Garot’s long history of dust collection work made us a top candidate for this project, which played a deciding factor in our participation. Our vast fabrication abilities and multiple fabrication shops allowed us to perform the work in the schedule allowed. We provided the sheet metal and piping labor primarily through the Michigan Upper Peninsula Unions with our leadership coming from Wisconsin. We are working side by side with operators, carpenters and mill rights.
Our expertise in dust collection and using correct practices in installation layout is critical. The ability of Tweet/Garot manufacturing facilities to weld heavy gauge ductwork, structural (hangers), and plate for stacks is also unique to the success of this project. The layout programs and fabrication process used in the Wrightstown, WI facility was critical in the coordination of timing the fabrication of the six separate dust collection systems on schedule. The whole nature of this project is to properly control excess dust throughout the process and contain it. The waste product is also reinjected and reused to maximize the use of the forest products. The filters are designed to maximize air quality.
The primary project challenges were meeting schedules and coordinating with the other contractors. Tweet/Garot provided on site project management for the duration of the project to coordinate with Miron management. Schedules were regularly changing to account for material delay issues and lead to day-to-day adjustments. In the end, both our project manager and superintendents were critical to achieve proper communication and coming up with solutions to unforeseen issues, to keep our team on schedule.

DTE – Matsches Dairy Farm
Tweet/Garot was awarded the Renewable Natural Gas project located on the property of Matsches Dairy Farm in Birnamwood, WI. With the completion of multiple other RNG projects around the Northeast portions of Wisconsin, this project fit well within the limits of Tweet/Garot’s capabilities.
This RNG project consisted of setting a large amount of equipment skids in which were placed around (2) new aboveground digesters. Both underground connection piping to the existing farm along with all of the associated aboveground piping to complete the necessary ties to each piece of equipment was performed by Tweet/Garot personally. A few unique piping systems installed included the following:
- Raw Manure
- Digestate
- Oxygen
- Biogas
- Tail Gas
- Nitrogen
Equipment setting was a large portion of the project which consisted of multiple critical crane picks based on the sheer size and weights of the items and their proposed locations on site. A list of equipment installed includes the following:
- Ferric Hydroxide Dosing System
- Boiler Skid (Prefabricated Building)
- Biogas Storage Membrane with Air Blowers
- Biogas Aftercoolers
- Vacuum Pump Enclosure
Approximately ½ mile or 2,000 linear feet of underground pipe was installed and about the same in above ground pipe for the project. In total, close to 1 mile of pipe, or 5000 linear feet, was installed over 11,170 manhours.
Challenging weather conditions along with shifting project schedules with equipment delivery dates being pushed out caused us to adapt our plan almost daily. Prefabrication of the large bore pipe and structural supports helped bring the project to a successful on time project completion allowing the owner to successfully start their renewable natural gas extraction from Matsches Farm.

Paper Converting Project, AL
The paper converting site’s vision was upgrading and adding converting lines to maximize paper towel and toilet paper output. The owner came to our team of experts at Tweet/Garot along with three additional industry partners, in the conceptual phase of the projects to help put together a price based on best practices from previous projects.
The team was handpicked because of our successes together to complete projects on time, which can be a challenge for large mills like this when located in remote areas with limited workforce. Tweet/Garot was able to keep our core group of traveling workers, who have completed similar projects previously, and roll them into the project. This was a key factor in ensuring this project’s success for the owner’s needs.
This site added converting lines for two separate products: paper towel and toilet paper. Each of these projects included demolition of the old mechanical utilities as well as installation of:
- Building Ventilation
- Dust Collection
- Trim Collection
- Cabinet Cooling
- Potable Water
- Mill Water
- Adhesive
- Compressed Air
- Process Drains
Between these scopes of work, Tweet/Garot was onsite for approximately 10 months.

Hy-Vee
Hy-Vee is an Iowa based chain of supermarkets with locations in the Midwestern and Southern United States. Currently there are more than 280 locations in Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
In late 2021, Hy-Vee expressed interest in a recently vacated building located in Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin. On November 8, 2022, this nearly 125,000 square foot store opened. It is the fourth location in Wisconsin and is the largest in the chain by square foot.
Tweet/Garot was subcontracted under Boldt Construction to handle the plumbing and HVAC scopes of work. Over the course of construction, the building was completely gutted and remodeled. Crews from different trades worked closely with each other to coordinate activities to ensure the expected completion date was met. With manpower and supply chain issues, this was no easy task, but Tweet/Garot was able to deliver.
Key components of our work:
- 19 new roof top units were installed to handle the heating and cooling needs of the building.
- 11 kitchen hoods, 14 exhaust fans, and 4 make-up air units were installed for proper exhaust and ventilation of new kitchen equipment to prepare items in the new food court.
In total, Tweet/Garot worked 12,225 hours with zero injuries on this beautiful project.
Ashwaubenon residents, as well as visitors, now have a new and modern option for their grocery, dining and pharmacy needs for years to come.
