Welcome back to the intern spotlight series  Carter Larson here again and today we spotlight Katie Holcombe. Katie is Tweet/Garot’s IT Intern from Burlington, WI. Katie is an upcoming senior at St. Norbert College here in De Pere, majoring in business administration with a concentration in management and a minor in communications. Katie says she grown an interest in management through her IT role as they are very closely related.

Before her internship here at Tweet/Garot, Katie worked as a florist at Gia Bella Flowers and Gifts, was as a tennis instructor, and currently still works in the IT department at St. Norbert where she fields issues from the entire college. During her time at Tweet/Garot, Katie has been designing and setting up our new ticketing system for IT related issues, has been responding to ongoing tickets that IT receives and has been setting up new computers.

Outside of work, Katie enjoys hiking, playing games on her PC, and reading books such as “The Giver” and “Anthem”. Katie told she doesn’t have a favorite song, but she has been listening to Miley Cyrus’s album “Bangerz” on repeat recently. Katie’s favorite movie is “Grosse Point Blank” and her favorite TV show is “Archer”. Finally, Katie couldn’t think of a favorite food but she told me Le Reve, which is a fancy French restaurant in Wauwatosa, is her favorite place to eat. Thank you all for reading once again.
